Re: Steel Magnolias
I can recite the whole thing! Even my dad likes it!
The scene that totally gets me is when Sally Field goes to pick up the baby from Aunt Fern's house. He's just walking towards her and smiling - he doesn't know his mom just died

That's the scene that kept running through my head the other night when I was in the ER with Lily.
I love the movie - but I feel like I'm scarred by it!

Re: Steel Magnolias
I turned it on last night right when Shelby passed away, from that point on I was crying until the movie ended.

I'm this way with Stepmom too. Gets me every time!
My newest obsession is this British movie Jack and Sarah that's always on TV. Wife dies giving birth to the baby and the husband has to take care of her on his own. He hires an American nanny and falls in love. Judi Dench is the husband's mother and she's hilarious. Ian McKellan is in it too.

I LOVE the whole wedding scene, especailly the bleedin' armadillah. . .
I could do with out the depressing 2nd half of the movie though. . .
