Sterilizing bottles

I feel like I am always sterilizing my bottles. I am just cuirous how many bottles you ladies have/ had at the 4 oz level. I hate to buy more only to have dd move onto the bigger ones really quickly.
At what age did your infants start eating more then 4 oz?
Thanks for the help!

I would just buy the 8oz bottes, they go through 4 ozs fast.

Re: Sterilizing bottles

I would buy the bigger ones, and if DC has issue with the flow put the smaller nips in the bigger bottles.

Re: Sterilizing bottles

I think I have 9 4 oz bottles. He still uses them now because when I make his cereal, I use the small bottles to make a little formula to mix in the cereal. also, they are good for juice when baby starts drinking that.

Re: Sterilizing bottles

I think I had a few 4 oz--I would just put the 4-5 oz in the 8 oz bottle.

And I learned really fast to put the bottles in the dishwasher!

Re: Sterilizing bottles

I got the dr browns infant starter set which came with 2- 4 oz bottles and 3- 8 oz bottles. I also bought another set of just the 3- 8 oz bottles. DD is only 3 weeks so she only drinks about 3 oz at a time

same here. I would just buy a bunch of 8oz bottles and only put 4 oz in them. DD was over 4 oz very young, maybe 4 weeks or so.

eta I have 2 4 oz bottles and 15 8 oz bottles. I hate always having to wash and sterilze right away - so now I have plenty on hand.Chat Icon
