The stick vacuums to me are very very tempting to buy...sound like they would be great for our wood floors...the two biggest rooms have area rugs on them. Can anyone recommend their stick vacuum? I was leaning towards one of the Dyson ones...but want to get any reviews from people if they have.

I have a dyson one, not sure which model but its cordless and my mom gave it to me as a gift for xmas 2 years ago. I don't know how I ever lived without it, I don't ever have to sweep. I use it daily. It transitions well between the hardwood floor and my area rugs.

Could you let me know which model you use? I would really love to get rid of trying to Swiffer and then sweep up all the dust and crumbs!!!

I am pretty sure its the DC35, I think its the cheapest of all of their cordless vaccums, I know they have more expensive models.
