Stimming starts today!
I'm starting my stims tonight and just had a few questions!
I went in this morning for my baseline (started my pd yesterday after coming off of BC). I have about 10 follicles on each side so the RE wants to start me off slow. 150 Gonal, 1 vial of Menopur. Is 20 follicles a normal number? is it too much?
When answering my questions he let me know that we are doing a dual trigger shot to help prevent OHSS because I am high risk for this. Has anyone ever done this before? HCG and I believe leuprolide?

20 on each side is on the high side.
I used 150/1 vial the whole time.
I just did the hcg shot.

To clarify I believe it was 10 follicles each side so a total of 20.

Stimming starts today!
I just started my first IVF last Thurs. Tonight will be dose 7 of stims. I am on 150 follistim and 1 vial menopur.... been that way all 7 days. I have about 20 follicles (13 on rt, 6-7 on left). Some of them are still on the smaller side, but at least 15 are in the 15-19mm range. I go back Friday and will likely trigger Friday night and sat night for Sunday retrieval. I am triggering with Lupron only.

There were 10 MEASURABLE follies on each side? I never had anything measurable at my baseline. The point of being on BC is to suppress your ovaries.

They were tiny I think called antral??? I think I was caught off guard bc I've never received a folly count on baseline
