Stitch fix
So a few weeks ago I posted that I didn't see what the rage was with this service. Someoen responded basically to not knock it until you try it.
I decided to do so and my first box came today.
I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised.
I loved everything that came except one shirt.
I am definitely keeping two of the items....a tunic and a blouse and you guys were right....they aren't things I would normally consider for myself but look great on.
I am sending the other items back only because I cannot justify the cost they are asking for them.
So I come back to say that I was wrong!!!

Nice! Glad you had a good fix. I find that I receive the most compliments on my SF items... probably just b/c they're different than items from Loft that 379879 other ppl have. How about some pics!!!

I can't post pics of me in them because I like to keep a low profile given what I do for a living.
I could probably find time to post the items themselves though.

How often do you get the service?
I set it up to come monthly.
Also do you find that even though it's a little pricey, it keeps you out of regular stores so you are either saving $$ or spending the same as you would?
I saw a few bloggers mention this and I need a budget overhaul right now.

Right now I have it set to monthly, just b/c that guarantees me a date w/in a month of my last fix if I want it, but sometimes I put it off to every other month (b/c of cost)

It is pricey, but its really the ONLY pricey clothes I buy. I'm strictly a Marshalls shopper, or LOFT when I have a really good coupon. It pains me to spend more than $20 on a garment.

That's great! Im glad to hear that you had a good experience! 
I'd also love to see the pics of the items if you are up to it.
My next fix comes next week. I am always at the edge of my seat waiting for that link every month.

Me too.
It's actually nice though to get something different than ,h typical Old Navy or Target.
I'm wearing the tunic I bought today and have received like 8 compliments.

I love love love the black and white top! The tunic is really cute too.
I do like Stitch Fix, but I haven't enjoyed my last two fixes at all. I decided to take a break for awhile.

Mine shipped and they may have really lost me. This one was free, b/c I complained about the last one so they waived my $20 fee, but EVERYTHING is $68+ except one random tee shirt, which is $44. Ehhhhh. AND not like what I asked. AGAIN. I think they just hate me.

That stinks!!!!!!! I'm so sorry. I still want to see everything you got. My last fix was 50/50. I really liked a cardigan that they sent so I kept it, black, lacey. They sent a GORGEOUS pair of purple/plum slim fit jeans that I wanted to keep in the worst way but they were $120!!!!!!!!!!!! 
The other 3 shirts were meh so I only kept the cardigan. I have a $25 referral credit and pushed my next fix off til mid-November so I will see what happens. I will try to post pics of my last fix. I didn't model them, just took pics of them laid out.

Canceled mine. They failed me yet again with items that were NOT w hat I asked for. Its the last 5 items on this board
1) The blue tee shirt was $44!!!! WTF
2) The black jeans were nice, but, $78?!?! I've seen this brand Kut from the Kloth at Marshalls for $24.99.
3)The tunic was too tight around my rear (you cant really tell from the photos)
4)The cardigan was ok, but $68!!!!
5) The green sweater was ok but it was angora and I've asked for only synthetic fabrics b/c I"m allergic AND it was $68

I love the green sweater on you, too bad about the material and the price! I'm genuinely, personally sad to hear about you cancelling. Darn! However, at this point, I probably would too. :( So sorry.

Mine have been coming from Indiana instead of Cali. Since then, they've been sucking. But I can't keep throwing $$ away.

And just when I was about to totally bail I got an email today that someone signed up using my link, and I have a $25 referral credit. Thanks if it was one of you girls! It said it was from "Kimberly" and I actually don't know anyone by that name! So, I have another fix coming 11/24.
