Stomach/Back Pain
Lately when I wake up in the morning my stomach is in alot of pain and now my lower back. I even wake up in the middle of the night from these pains because they hurt. They are not cramps though! Once I get up and get out of bed the pain goes away in my stomach about 5mins later (I still have the lower back pain but let me point out that I've always had lower back trouble).
Should I be concerned? I am 16wks today and I'm worried that something could go wrong. I don't feel that I need to call my doctor...or should I? I have an appointment next Tuesday.
I was honestly thinking that pain is from the baby kicking and moving all around while I'm sleeping. May be the baby is more active at night. Could it be?
Sorry so many questions. Did anyone else experience this?
Thank you.

Re: Stomach/Back Pain
if you are in a lot of pain, you need to call your doctor. it could be dehydration or just stretching, but better safe than sorry

Re: Stomach/Back Pain
I toss and turn a lot at night b/c I get uncomfortable - back and stomach pains.
Could you be dehydrated? I sometimes get fairly sharp stomach pains, which I think are related to not drinking enough water. Perhaps the pain could also be from everything stretching and growing. Feel better.

Re: Stomach/Back Pain
Thank you. I'm not too concerned but I will call my doctor just to be safe. I was hoping that someone else may be experienced this and knew the answer
