Stomach Bug, 11.5 Weeks Pregnant and a Walk-In Clinic Doctor Just Got Me Worried:-(
I am 11 and a half weeks pregnant. For the past three days I've had a stomach bug. I finally decided to go to the walk-in clinic tonight and the Dr said my lower abdomen seems tender(it was a drop sore to the touch and wants me to go first thing tomorrow morning for a sono at my OBGYN. He said he's "normally" an ER Dr and better to be safe than sorry but now of course he got me all worried
Is it that abnormal for your lower abdomen to be tender in early pregnancy? I assume it's from the three days of diarrhea( sorry TMI) due to this virus. What else would it be? Could it be from the stretching of my uterus?? Praying that's all what this tenderness is.
Thanks for listening!

It's kind of hard to say b/c I find the dr's in walk in clinics to be subpar (one told me to hurry to the ER b/c of swelling in the back of my head that he thought were tumors - was an ear infection affecting my lymph nodes).
I'm inclined to believe you stomach is tender b/c of being sick but definitely make an appt w/ your OB for tomorrow to get some peace of mind.

My abdomen was pretty tender/sore around week 14. If you are concerned, contact your doctor.

Call your OB in the morning- it is likely nothing to worry about.
