Stony Brook Hospital Childbirth Classes
Has anyone took the 6 week childbirth preperation classes at SB Hospital? Was it worth it? Im trying to decide if i should do it there or through Mary Kahrs.

I did and I was extremely disappointed with it especially since we had to pay for it. Maybe it was just the session I was in but it was unorganized and poorly run. The first night we waited over an hour for them to find us a room to hold the bfing class in and another session was held in a hallway because the room we were using was occupied.
ETA: I am referring to the SB classes.

My DH and I went to Mary last weekend. She was worth every penny and quite funny! My mom was a CE instructor for many years and reviewed all of Mary's paperwork, etc. and said "Wow - she did a great job!"
