Stony Brook/Setauket/Port Jeff Moms
Hi...2 quick questions:
1. Can you recommend your pediatrician (if you like him/her)? My current one is in Mt. Sinai, and it's kind of a hike, especially now that I have 2 and cold/flu season is fast approaching.
2. Can you recommend a dance studio that has classes for 3 year olds?

Join the three village moms group on fb. Those b!tches know everything 
I go to mid suffolk Peds so not sure if that is where you are now....they have long hours and I never have a prob getting an appointment.
Shine on S Jersey Ave has 3 year old classes.also chance to dance on belle mead. No personal experience just what has been recommended to me

Not from those towns but I use lake grove pediatrics which is on rt347 right next door to PC Richards. So close to those areas. Dr. Goldberg is amazing.

Yes join that facebook group. Hold on to your hat though as sometimes it gets crazy lol. We also use Mid Suffolk because I like the hours but alot of my friends go to Friendly Medical in Stony Brook.
For dance we use Chance to Dance off of Belle Meade. They have 3 year old classes.

We go to Mid Suffolk Peds in Hauppauge. I loooove them. Great doctors, easy to get an appt, and great hours..........also open 7 days a week!!
My DD dances at Shine Dance in Setauket. They are great! Very affordable, lots of classes to choose from, and they put on two great shows a year! This will be her third year dancing there. They are opening bigger, nicer studios starting this year too!!

My DD is going to shine in the fall....do classes start 9/8 or 9/15....they mention two dates on the website. And do I have to get the shoes there or can I go to Payless??
And yes the fb group does get crazy sometimes...but it's hilarious (my fav was the ringing and running video!)

Agree. I go to her from Holbrook. She's awesome. Knows all of her patients so well.

Classes start the week of 9/15. ...........that was what Sharon originally told me unless it changed.
I don't buy anything there actually. I get my DD's dance shoes at Payless and her leotards on Amazon.
ETA - I think it was originally the 8th (that's what I had on my calendar all summer) but I'm guessing she changed it because they needed more time to get the new studio ready.
