Moms who delivered in Stony Brook ...
sorry for all the questions! Did they let you use baby wipes for diaper changes or is it that gauzey stuff that you have to wet? I'm thinking of sneaking in Huggies newborn wipes of they dont.

I dleivered in Stonybrook..my girls were in the NICU and yes we used the Gauze and wet them..it worked fine.. No complaints..i thought that hospital did a great job..The wipes should be the least of your worries.

Yup I had the paper stuff at SB. I didn't even know those were supposed to be wipes. I called the nurses desk and asked for wipes. I was surprised when she told me those paper things were wipes.

Gauze, the baby doesn't really go that often in the hospital- you don't really need the wipes.

In the first days, you don't want to use anything except water on their gentle little bottoms.
I delivered at SB, but I didn't use gauze - we were given these awesome paper/cloth type wipes that were like a thick paper towel (but MUCH softer) when wet.
