Storksak Leather Diaper Bag
I am totally in love with the Storksak Elizabeth bag.
But- I've never spent that much on even a regular bag (it's $325) and I'm kind of cheap when it comes to that stuff.
I was willing to splurge a little after saving up the money (or asking for gift certificates for christmas ), but I'm wondering if the leather is washable and weatherproof?
I would hate to spend so much on a bag only to spill formula on it or get rainwater stains on it.
Does anyone know if this type of bag can be treated to be waterproof? Or reccommend a similar style bag for less $$$ or in a waterproof fabric?

Re: Storksak Leather Diaper Bag
i think you could treat it with water repellent spray, but this is my exact worry about getting a fancy diaper bag. I feel like anything can happen with a spilled bottle or juice, or dirty diaper etc. Also what if you have to put it down somewhere etc. Because of this i'm not going to even look at the super fancy diaper bags.

Re: Storksak Leather Diaper Bag
You could probably treat it. I would email them and ask. I have had the Emily bag for 2 years and I love it. It's been my only diaper bag when other people have like 10!
The inside is water repellent so you won't have to worry about spills on the inside, and I have never really spilled anything on the outside of mine so it wouldn't even be a concern for me. I'm actually thinking about getting the black quilted Elizabeth but want to see it it person first.
