Story I Heard
I was getting my nails done yesterday and there was one other woman in the salon talking non-stop. She decides to share her "bone-headed" move of the day with the nail tech.
Apparantly she has a new BMW, complete with keyless ignition. Yesterday she is crusing down the LIE doing "at least" 70 and talking on her cell phone. She went to hit the blue tooth button on the steering wheel to shut off the phone and instead she shut off the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
Beware ladies, she also said she is a lousy driver!
All I could think was, boy am I glad I don't drive the LIE that often!!

That's not possible. My mom has the keyless ignition bmw and the car needs to be in park for the button to work.

yeah I would think there would be a safety feature so that that could not happen

I don't know whether it is possible or not, I only know what she was babbling about in the nail salon. She did say the car slowed down and shifted into neutral and restarted when she hit the button a second time.
However, she also said she was on her 4th marriage and that this one was arranged.

What a baffoon!!
Scary.
To the other posters, thank you for sharing that info... When I hit the lottery and can afford my brand new 7 Series BMW with keyless ignition I will not be worried should I hit the button!
