Strasburg Railroad, Starsburg PA
Has anyone been there? DH and I want to take DS there in September to see Thomas the Train. I actually saw it on an episode of Jon and Kate + 8, and it looks like something DS will LOVE. I've started looking into hotels in the area, and I can't find any large chain hotels. Does anyone know of any good hotels in the area? All I am finding when I go on trip advisor, etc. are really small ma and pa hotels.

We are hoping to go there during our trip to Lancaster next weekend (we're going there to go to Dutch Wonderland).
Try searching for hotels in Lancaster, it's about 10 min from the Railroad museum.
Trip Advisor (which I LOVE) has a bunch of hotels!!

DH used to go to Strasburg a lot as a child with his family. He stated they stayed in Lancaster.

I went there when I was younger, a few times actually. we always stayed in lancaster. its not far at all

We went a few months ago but not when Thomas was there. It was great. My DS had the best time. We did Sesame Place too so we stayed in the Radisson near there. It wasn't that far from Strasburg at all. It was the Radisson Trevose. It was such a nice hotel. Great pools, restaurant and close to a lot.
