Re: strep throat question
daycare sent a note to look for fever and a sandpaper like rash. DH is sick and has a funky looking canker sore in the back of his throat

Re: strep throat question
Ry has no fever and has NO SIGNS OF BEING SICK AT ALL....
I brought him to the Dr because my mom insisted something was wrong because he was walking funny-
The Dr checked him and said his throat and ears were clear- but he was gonna do a strep culture just to ease my feelings- since I had told him I was nervous about his b-day party on Sat.
The Dr was floored when it came back positive...
He said- since he was eating fine- and his throat wasnt even red- normally- they wouldnt even do a culture....
Sometimes a child can have it- and not even know it- (A carrier)
