We registered for the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe travel system.
We really liked it- and DH loves the one handed close feature.

Re: Strollers on my mind...
I have a bugaboo. I think you love it or hate it. I go walking everyday in my neighborhood. I live on the third floor, so the stroller is rarely ever in my apt. I keep it in my car. that is my backround story
Pros: I got so much use out of the bassinet attachment. When we were out in and out of the car, it was great that he can stretch from being in the carseat.
It is super quiet. no rattling wheels.
At times I jog with it and its still a perfect smooth ride.
It turns on a dime.
I used my bundle me from the carseat and it fit perfect.
I have used it on trails and on mountains...seriously, it is still a crazy smooth easy ride.
At times, if DH was taking my car, and I had to store bug upstairs, I drag it up all 3 flights with baby strapped in it. Its not bad at all...no bumping on every step.
I am glad the alternative kid board is there for when baby #2 comes along.
I purchased the carseat attachmet, that was great as well...the 50.00 hurt at the time, but I know I can put it back on ebay and get the money back.
okay.. cons: not sure how it compares to others, but my entire trunk space is taken up(a matrix)...unless you are a daily walker, I could not see lugging this thing around for weekly mall trips and such.
It folds up in 2 parts...there is no way to open or close it while holding baby. I have worked out a technique to it, and practice makes perfect. The first week at it, you could have taped me trying to open it and won the big prize on america's funniest home videos. Now I can get it in 10 seconds...but still need both hands.
My mother said she doesn't like how the handle bar is one across piece and not broken up into two. She said I will miss that for bags(to slide them down the handles) and honestly, I do. I go grocery shopping and walk home...it would make it a lot easier if I could throw bags on handles.
so that's my take. We walk around my neighborhood daily, so to me its worth it since its a great walking stroller. We are beach people, and go to the mountains. So its worth it.
its a cool stroller, but I would evaluate what purpose its going to have in your life.
good luck!
here's a shot of the buddle me on it
here he is in the bassinet..we made a pillow after awhile so he can see out

Re: Strollers on my mind...
My dream stroller is a Silver Cross Pram
http://www.silvercross.co.uk/
Under the hertigage Prams...they are over $1K and are totally inpractical since we live on LI and drive places but I heart one sooo much.
I have a Graco Metrolite and love it. It is a great stroller. Now I use a Sit and Stand when I have Molly and Jason with me.

Re: Strollers on my mind...
as a BTDT mom - I want to say I Loooooooove my pliko p3. I have traveled a TON with it and it has held up wonderfully and been a wonderful everyday stroller.
I have to say though that I started with a Graco Quattro - and I hated it once I actually started using it. It is too heavy/bulky and I think having a 5 point harness is really important - the graco only has a three point. That is just my opinion - if I had to do it again I would of bought the pliko from the start (Esp. since the infant carrier fits into the stroller just like with the graco) - just wanted to add my two cents.

Re: Strollers on my mind...
I have to get a twin stroller now, but I went with Stroll-Aire with Jules because the handle raises for us tall people.... Stroll-Air on Ebay
Stroll-Air Website
If you look online, there are losts of places that have free shipping.
It comes with a car-seat carrier, real tires, not plastic, a bassinet, front/rear facing pram, unbrella, foot muff and diaper bag... The frame is solid steel.
ETA: The bassinet makes it like one of those olf fashion carriages... but under $850-$1000. Mine was $650 because I bought the SE White Leatherette one so it was unisex. DH wanted Pink but I knew #2 may be a boy.
I use it for hours and hours a week, and the thing is in mint condition. Just wipe it down with a magic eraser and a antibacterial wipe.

Re: Strollers on my mind...
I am just starting to look into strollers and I always intended on getting a Bugaboo. But after talking to a few friends I am not anymore. They live in NYC and we are moving to suburbia in a few weeks and they told me it wouldn't be worth it. They said it would be a pain to get in and out of a car all the time and that it's heavy....So while I am a little sad I won't be getting one, I am glad they gave me good feedback so I don't sepnd a lot of money on something that won't suit my lifestyle...

I your son!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for the info. I luckily will not have to drag it up 3 flights of stairs and I also love the bassinet part. I will be doing a lot of walking since Im in Queens and rarely using a car or public transportation. This stroller is perfect for me and I can see that I'll use it for a long time!
Out of the three models, which one would you recommend to be the most useful (with the accessories and such)?
Thanks!

Re: Strollers on my mind...
We have the Bugaboo Frog. Like Janice, we have to carry it up stairs. That part I don't like but our staircase is really narrow and that makes it difficult. We usually keep it in the car.
As far as folding it down, it's pretty easy but it does take a little practice. I don't mind that I can't hold my baby when folding it down because it's safer to secure her first then attend to the stroller.
I do love that it turns on a dime. That's very handy when navigating through store aisles, crowds, etc. And the ride is so smooth. We've traveled over dirt, cobblestones, etc and never got stuck!
DD slept in the bassinet part in our room for almost 3 months. We got more mileage out of the bassinet that way and we didn't have two bassinets taking up room in our apartment.
I love the carseat adapter too. It was very useful especially because she's a winter baby and I didn't have to take her out of her warm carseat to use the stroller. Just click, click and we're ready to move!

We're going with the Bugaboo because from everything I've heard it's a great for the city. We'll also get the car seat adaptor for when we use our car but that's not too often.

Re: Strollers on my mind...
I havent picked my stroller yet BUT after my last time I know what to look for...
Light weight..anything heavy will get very annoying and you'll be looking for something else.
Sun Shade..self explanatory
Cup holders..Strollers didnt always come with these and they come in super handy.
Undercarriage basket..you can only hang just so much on the back of the stroller before it tips over.
Size..Stores like to cram everything in and make the aisle very narrow.
Cleanability..babies make huge messes.
Wearability..cant be ready to fall apart.
As long as it has all those things I dont care what the cost!!!!! Ive seen some of the more expensive strollers that have nothing and some cheaper ones that have everything...
My advice would be to get the best stroller for your needs...Or perhaps two separate strollers for different needs..(example 1 for jogging, hiking, parades, the park and 1 for shopping).
