STTN and Feeding?
DS is 9 weeks and has started (don't want to jinx myself!) STTN from about 10pm to about 7. I am EBF and I find that he seems to want to eat more often during the day now. Is this normal? He used to go at least 3 hours, but that now seems to be the absolute max, it's more like every 2 1/2 hours.

Re: STTN and Feeding?
I think that is pretty common. DS started sleeping through the night 9-6 at about 10 weeks old. He definitely nursed more during the day since he was not eating at night.

Re: STTN and Feeding?
DS is starting that too. He's STTN from about 12-8, he'll eat at 8, then go back to sleep for another 90 minutes or so. He WAS eating every 4-5 hours during the day, but now that he's skipping a night feeding, he only goes 3-4 hours. He's eating about 42 oz/ day.

sounds like a dream.
if he's eating more during the day, i think its less of a jinx possible situation and preparing for the longterm

Re: STTN and Feeding?
One of the things that I think helped Lily sleep well was eating often during the day, so I say go with it!
