students/parents threw me a baby shower!
so after yesterday when I stayed home, apparently they were so upset thinking i was going to stay home again from the heat and the no a/c in the classroom. this surprise has been going on for a while without my knowledge. they went all out too.....pizza, soda/water, balloons/decorations, favors and gifts galore!!!!!!!!!.....two hugggge bags filled with bibs, receiving blankets, outfits, wipes, lotions, albums, etc.....one girl even got me a stroller!...and then the class chipped in and i got $400 in cash as a class gift!...it was amazing and much too much....i was so grateful and surprised but i just felt bad bc it was tooooo much!....so although my ankles dont feel this way and of course im exhausted from the heat overall i guess im glad i went into work today despite the no a/c classroom
