stupid ? but i dont know who else to ask(little update!)
i dont post here cuz were not offically TTC and want to wait at least a year... heres my ?... is it possible to get pregnant on BCP? (i know i should know the answer im a nurse) i just havent been feeling "myself" crazy cravings.. but if i was.. it would have had to happen on the wedding night or on HM... and i DOuBT it would show up on any test? since it was only 17 days ago.... also i got AF.. but a friend of mine said she knew someone who was preggo on BCP and was still getting AF for 5 months.. and reading all these threads you ladies seem to be experts.. so please help.. What do you ladies think.. am i just a hot mess or is this a possibility? 
UPDATE:
just thought id thank you girls again for being so kind also just to let you know i tested this morning and BFN (thank goodness we would love a baby but just not yet we're broke) Hopefully ill be back on this board in a year actively TTC!

yes i missed it the night of the wedding and then 2 nights on the honeymoon cuz they lost my luggage

Did you ever "fix it" by taking extra pills to make up for the ones that you missed?

Did you miss more than 3 pills at a time...i remember when I was on BCP it said to use a backup at that point...I guess anything is possible

no it was never more then 1.. so i would just double up.. but like you said anythings possible... i guess ill wait another week and see whats going on . Thanks for your help!

It is possible. The lady I used to sit for had two kids, one was conceived on BCP and the other was a condom baby.
I would POAS if you are still feeling funny in a few days.

my BF has a 1 year old- she was on the pill when she got prego
she didn't even miss any
it happens- it's only 99% effective

yes, it can happen.
were you on an antibiotic or other prescription? they can often decrease the effectiveness of BCP.

nothing to hinder the effetivness.. except i missed a few days but doubled up to fix it...
my last af was may 30th and i got it again this past friday which makes me
its just so weird ive never cried so much in my whole life since wed. ive cried everyday for one reason or another.. just not myself...
im just finishing af so my ? is... if i were to test when would i?

i dont know if you are pregnant or not but you just changed your ENTIRE life in a single day. it is common to be emotional and just feel DIFFERENTLY.
I gained ten pounds in the three months after my wedding - it can be a big adjustment!!

from what i understand, AF while on BCP is not a true AF. it's only withdrawal bleeding. if you feel like something is up, i would definitely test. it would put your mind at ease so what's the harm. 17 days is long enough.
