STUPID mistake by RE... Im still shaking
I went in for a 3rd beta this morning.
At 2 I get a call from REs office. I pick up and its one of the other doctors in the practice whom I have only met once. He starts off by calling me Janet, so i correct him and tell him no, its Jeanna. He says ok, and then proceeds to tell me that my test came back negative and that I am not pregnant. So now Im feaking, asking him how this could happen when everything was fine 3 days ago... and then he says.... oh wait, Im sorry, wrong person... your beta was fine, come in Wednesday for your first sono!!!!!!
It took the nurse to get on the phone, apologize, and calm me down before I was reassured that I was indeed pregnant and that my beta levels rose nicely today.

Unbelievable! Some of these doctors have no clue!!!! They become immune to this and forget we still have feelings and are VERY EMOTIONAL!

Thank god it was a mistake and you were calmed down.
