Stupid question about a steam bath

Some of you posted on an earlier post of mine that when your DC was sick you gave them a steambath. How exactly do you do that with an newborn??? I know it is stupid but I can't figure it out! Thanks

I just close the bathroom door and run the shower on hot. The room fills up with steam. I stand up and walk around. I always tried to get him to take it in by tickling, feeding, trying to get them to coo or something.

Just don't take him out of the bathroom fast. He'll get a chill. I usually crack the door and let the room cool down a bit, wrap them in a robe or towel before leaving the room.
