Stupid question about cooking meat for baby...
ok so you what cook the meat in plain water through in some veggies right? Then put everything in the blender. Do I add some of the water from the pot in with the blender.
I've never done this before so bear with me...
How much meat do I then give? like how many tbsp per serving at lunch and dinner.

Re: Stupid question about cooking meat for baby...
I can only offer advice on chicken, as we don't eat any other meat. I found that boiling the chicken made it extremely dry, so I now cook a whole chicken or chicken breasts in the over, then puree it with some apples or peeled grapes or pears. I will add a few tablespoons of water, but you really have to eyeball it. If it seems to thick, water it down. I've also added a couple of tbsp. of cereal if I've made it too thin.
Just feed him until he's not hungry anymore. I don't even measure what I give Ava. HTH.

Re: Stupid question about cooking meat for baby...
I do beef casseroled so that Noah can chew on it, its stringy so he can chew it and swallow it too. I do a lot of Minced Beef, chicken, turkey, pork etc. I cook it, like in a frying pan, drain it, let it cool, then blitz it in the food processor until its a smooth consistancy.

Re: Stupid question about cooking meat for baby...
Would it be a crime if I used the Jars instead of making the stuff myself? I mean isn't he going to be actually eating it (not pureed) in a few months anyways???

Do whats right for you, but to be honest, he doesn't need purees if he can swallow things like puffs or cheerios....
