Stupid Question-How do you make chocolate milk?
I always bought the premade kind as a treat, but today I got the syrup..

Milk in sippy first. Dribble a dab of chocolate syrup. Twist on cover of sippy. Shake. Enjoy!

put in a teaspoon of hershey's liquid chocolate - the powder stuff will taste wrong.
stir with spoon

This is hysterical!!! The "wow" commet gets a ?
ETA: what kind of premade chocolate milk do you buy? Each brand of syrup tastes different. DS only likes Nestle syrup.

ETA-When I made it this am, I had milk put the syrup in and shook it, but he said it didn't taste good.....I thought maybe I didn't mix it right...

This thread makes me smile... DS LOVES chocolate milk and he knows when I hold back with the amount of syrup. If you don't put enough syrup, it will taste weird. I know because my son tells me to taste it when I don't make it with enough syrup...

OMG!!! THROW it out!!! I bought that brand too..ONE TIME! It definitely does taste different. Stick with Nestle!!

I waitressed for a long time and made it for lots of kids. But DS HATES it!!!!!! I've made it a few different ways on different days. Nope. Hates it.
But I never tried it until the dining hall in college.

OK I was going to hijack just to ask if they still make the Quik powder but I googled it instead and the answer is yes! I think I was one of the few kids who liked that taste but now I haven't had chocolate milk in ages and DS is still on Pediasure.
With syrup I would stir it in but I would leave the spoon in my cup so I could keep stirring as I drank. I'm not sure how I would do that for a toddler, though.
