Sudafed

I wanted to know if taking Sudafed Maximum Strength Sinus Headache with the ingredients acetaminophen and pseudoephdrine is ok to use? When I went on safefetus.com it classfied Sudafed as calls C which is dangerous to use.

Re: Sudafed

I took plain sudafed (not the sinus one) as it was OK'd to me by my OB.

That, Robbutusin (sp) DM, and Tylenol were all OK'd

Re: Sudafed

I would say NO to the pseudoephedrine only bc it has been known to cause racing heartbeats in adults and children.

My dr. said it's perfectly safe for pregnant women.

Re: Sudafed

Just an FYI I believe they stopped making Sudafed with pseudophedrine because apparently people were using this to make meth. Sudafed PE contains Phenylephrine. I don't know if this is safe to take during pg but I have accidently taken it before I realized it wasn't the original.
