Suede shoes - edited with pics and new questions
I always thought of suede shoes as being for the fall/winter - but I am seeing so many out for the summer. It just doesn't seem right to me. Is this a new thing or have I just been completely wrong about this all these years? I see so many cute styles in suede, but I just can't bring myself to buy them for the summer.
ETA:
So, would you consider these to be summery shoes? They are exactly what I am looking for, except for that they are suede and I just can't really see wearing them now (but they are current merchandise)
And what about in this color? Definitely more summery, but the suede thing is still throwingme off

Yeah I'm kind of the same.
I guess I could get into them if I saw them and they looked appropriate for summer, but I'm on the fence

I wouldn't do a pump or bootie - but a strappy sandal or a traditionally summer style, in suede, I guess works if all of the designers are making them this season

Yeah it's probably some "trend". But not one I want to get on board with.

Yes, those I could definitely see wearing for the summer - they're really nice! It's the more "regular" "everyday" flats and pumps in suede that seem too heavy for summer but are everywhere now
