Suffollk OBGYN PJ office gals
I see a different doctor each time, and up uintil now, I was very "whatever" about it. But yesterday I had an appointment, and I LOVE this doctor!
Of course, since I am an OB whore, I have no idea what his name was.
He was maybe late 30s, Italian, beefy- not fat but not a skinny minnie.
I know I can call the office, but I feel like an idiot.
Anyone know?
Anyway- my question is, do I have to continue meeting random doctors who do not remember me each visit? What is the point? They aren't going to remember me when I give birth anyway.
Can I request visits with this Dr?

Update: I found my old appt card- Dr. Patraco.
And I have my next appointment with him too!
So we have our 20 week sono appt on 11/3 and I am SO EXCITED! I can't wait to find out which team I'm on!

Yes, they request that you see all of the doctors bc you won't know who will be on call when you go into labor.
I tried doing the same thing, sticking with one doctor, and they had trouble booking the same doctor when I needed to go.
I know that after the baby you can request 1 doctor, my mother in law does it.

So we have our 20 week sono appt on 11/3 and I am SO EXCITED! I can't wait to find out which team I'm on!
I saw him 4 weeks ago, very nice guy I agree!

So I wonder if once I run the gambit, I can pick and choose? I hate this, not having a relationship with the Dr. Every time I go in I feel like it's my first time there. And I get rushed out.
Ugh.
Oh and additionally- if you ever pay your copay in cash- KEEP THE RECEIPT!
They are charging me for a copay I paid! Who knows if I have that receipt?!

I think you can pick and choose if you want, you can just insist on it. You just run the risk of not getting the Dr. you want when giving birth.
I agree you have to keep your receipts, I get a copy of mine to give to my work, work gives me my copays back.

They totally do- every one I have had is on a Saturday.
My DH can only make Saturdays, so I insisted the first time.

Ha! So I guess at 20 weeks, no matter when your appt previous is!

My first one was done on a saturday...it was Patchogue not PJ...not sure if that makes a difference.
