sugar free cakes
ok so at 1045 im leaving for my sil shower and i have to get a sugar free cake for her, not like a sheet cake but just something for her to pick on during dessert; her sister asked me last night at 11 to hget it. so i went to 4 bakeries today in between massapequa and seaford ansd king kullen and no one has anything., only cookies. so now what? i got a half pound of cookies but i dont know if that is enough ; she asked me to get a sugar free dessert for her.

Re: sugar free cakes
I know it might be boring, but most Stop n Shops and other supermarkets sell sugar free angel food cakes in the bakery area. They're not store made, they're some brand, but it's something and it's not too big.

Re: sugar free cakes
There's a sugar free bakery shop in Massapequa on Merrick Rd. It's in the strip mall across from the firehouse, on the same side as Nautilus Diner. There's a Dunkin Donuts in that same group of stores. Not sure if they are open on a Sunday morning but they have some not so boring cakes, cookies, etc and they are pretty good. Not sure of the name of the place.

Re: sugar free cakes
I usually find something in Stop N Shop. Whether it is a s/f pie or angel food cake. Sometimes I luck out and find a s/f cheese cake....Good luck.
