suggestions needed for area rug, pillows for the couch, and curtains
DH and I are moving in a month and we want to buy some new stuff
This is our couch (we got it from jennifer convertibles but cant find a pic online so this one is very similar):
We are getting a dark cherry coffee table and end tables
Now what rug, pillows and curtains do u suggest would go with it? Im open to all suggestions (i stink at decorating) im just not sure what colors would go nicely together...the only kind that i really dont like are the traditional rugs

What color carpet/floors, what color walls? Are there any other piece of furniture that are going to be in the room?

white walls (we might decide to paint) and wood floors..as of now, there arent any other pieces of furniture we are also going to get a new entertainment center but we plan on matching it to the coffee table...we are basically getting rid of all of our older living room furniture and replacing it...which is why i have no clue how to decorate

It sounds like you need a inspiration piece to get you started. It can be anything a picture, a pillow, a rug. Something that you love that you will use to pull colors from.

uhh yes!
I love these curtains...i like how the blue and beige looks together...but what kind of rug and pillows would i get to match it?

I think that you can get solid pillows to match the curtains (which I love) and they will pull it together. OR go with an accenting color in a solid and it will really pop.

uhh yes!
I love these curtains...i like how the blue and beige looks together...but what kind of rug and pillows would i get to match it?

Great curtains. Love the colors. Slate Blue and Beige are great colors together. A pop color could be red or burnt orange. Even sage green and browns all look great together.
Here is my bedroom. It has browns, blues, beige.

just an fyi....fortunoff has a TON of rugs for sale that are greatly discounted due to clearance!
you should go there to get an idea of what styles/colors you'd like too!
