Suggestions please: I am throwing my employee a surprise baby shower on Sunday!
I found out on Monday her friends aren't throwing her one (financial issues). I thought about how terrible I would feel if that happened to me. I am taking my employees out to Sunday brunch and the girl's 8 other friends are joining us. Today I bought candle favors. I'll pick up some balloons but now I need to find some fun games. I haven't been to any baby showers in the last few years. Any suggestions?

Does she know what she's having? I went to a shower and they printed on a piece of paper for everyone to fill out and guess...sex of the baby..weight.....and the mother will read them in the hospital after baby is born. It was fun and something for the new mom to do especially if she's staying in the hospital for 4 days due to a C-Section.

Some moms to be wouldn't like this game but some think its fun. Have everyone cut a piece of ribbon as to how big they think the mom to be's stomach is.

I had this done to me, but it was more funny for me because I gave birth to a toddler and was HUGE!!!!!!

That is SO NICE of you - everyone deserves a baby shower!
I went to a shower recently where they did a very simple "how big is mommy's belly" game...the host walked around with a spool of this special tape (looks like something from party city maybe) and you tore off a pieced based on how big you think the mother to be was...and then we all compared and the closest won...it was very cute, quick and easy and it is the the one time in life where you don't feel bad about having a cute belly
