summer company party help

I need to plan a summer company party. We would only have about 15 adults and about 5 kids.

I am trying to find something to 'do' and then eat afterwards.

I was thinking something along the lines of a tour of Old Westbury Gardens, but their cafe seems small for us. I am open to a quick drive to a local place to eat too but I prefer to have ONE place to do something and eat as well.

In the past we went golfing on the boardwalk and then ate there but the restaurant is gone now. We did bowling too but I hate to be inside for a summer party. We did a general picnic at a park and paddle boat rides too.

I was thinking about a LI Ducks game too....but may be hard with the number of us, we dont really fit the number of people in the packages they have.

What about Boomers in Medford? Or The Nassau County Museum of Art? They have a lot of programs for kids, beautiful gardens & trails, and a really nice cafe that I believe can accommodate a party your size.

I'd try to see if Fire Island National Seashore would give you guys a private Behind the Scenes tour of the Lighthouse and then have a caterer do a clambake on the beach.
