For anyone hosting a party this summer...

If anyone is looking for some really good drink mixes for their next party, Williams-Sonoma's Passionfruit Margarita mix was a huge hit at my party this weekend. The W-S Sangria Roja mix was also a crowd favorite. Just wanted to pass along the recommendations Chat Icon

Re: For anyone hosting a party this summer...

they sound yummy!

if i may... give a non-alcoholic recipe to help the mommies-to-be out there not feel left out.

NON-ALCOHOLIC SANGRIA:
i don't remember where i found this... but oh, so yummy. i made it for a baby shower and was a hit.

EQUAL PARTS PINEAPPLE JUICE AND POMAGRANITE (SP?) JUICE.

FRUIT TO YOUR LIKING (ORANGES, APPLES, BERRIES)

put in fridge. right before you're ready to serve, add

GINGERALE TO TASTE (i like a lot of fizz)

that's it. and it's soooo yummy

Good point!!! They also have some non-alcoholic recipes on the bottles I mentioned. Each bottle makes 2 servings, so you could make one with alcohol and one without as well Chat Icon

Another good drink:

White Wine Sangria:

1 bottle of Reisling
2 peaches
1 mango

Chop up the fruit and add to the wine.
Yummy!
It was a big hit at my July 4th BBQ

Another surprisingly good drink mix is the Stop and Shop Simply Enjoy Brand.
They have everything from Watermelon to Mojito mix and let me tell you- the quality is outstanding.
The Watermelon actually tastes like real fruit- rather than just sweet and chemically like most watermelon mixers.
The mojito has a real minty taste to it too.

Very good quality!

I also got the Key Lime Margarita mix. It was definitely better than the usual Jose Cuervo mix, but it was nowhere as good as the Passionfruit Mix. I'm curious about the Tropical Pineapple though - that sounds yummy.

The funny part is, I don't like margarita's, but this one I loved. Pineapple sounds soo good.
