Lollapalooza (just Saturday to see Mumford & Sons)
I'm sure I'll end up at a bunch of smaller name shows throughout the summer...but those are the big guns.

I just saw Mudhoney the other night in Brooklyn and they were just as great as they have ever been. They're such a consistently great live band.
Seeing Pearl Jam at Wrigley Field in July! That's what I'm living for at the moment.
Now I'm thinking of the Lemonheads.
Social D in Brooklyn.
Maybe Beck in Brooklyn.
I want to go to the AIC/Jane's Addiction show at Jones Beach, and also Black Crowes/Tedeschi Trucks Band.
Thinking about heading to Philly for Made in America just 'cause QOTSA and NIN are on the bill, but I think both will tour in the fall and I'd rather see them do their own shows than headline a festival.
Maybe The Specials?
Maybe Aerosmith/Joan Jett, mainly because I want to see Joan Jett?
I have a lot of maybes in there. Unless it's someone I need to see, I'm on the fence. And nearly all of the bands I listed are ones I've seen already anyway

Social D is playing the Warsaw, which is a Polish National Hall WHICH MEANS THAT THEY SERVE BIG FRESH PLATES OF HOMEMADE PIEROGI AND HAVE ZYWIEC ON TAP!!!! It's a great venue. Because. They. Have. Pierogi. LOL! link from Social D's page
Beck is playing the Prospect Park Bandshell and it's an all-electric set (his tour with Dylan this summer is acoustic)...it's a little pricey which is why I can't commit yet ($65) and it's on DH's birthday so it's really up to him if we go since it's his big day.

Tx, will have to check it out. I'm so beat by the time I get to go online at home at night I forget to look for shows, LOL. DH loves pierogis might have to just say we're going in for them and then say "hey, look, live music too!"

BIG volbeat fan here  Just saw them at Best Buy last month
Only show for me this summer is 311 at Jones Beach and Rancid
Having a kid has severely limited my ability to go to shows anymore!

We got a Groupon for $15 for the AIC/JD concert at Jones Beach. My girlfriends and I are seeing Aerosmith on Governer's Island (another Groupon) for $129 (food and beer included  ).
