Summer Fun Suggestions
Dh's family from California is coming to visit for a week in August. The kids are 9,8 and 4. Any ideas of what we can do with them to make sure the kids (and adults) enjoy long island and have fun?
So far I thought of Splish Splash, a ball game (maybe ducks or yankees)...and then I am stumped!
TIA

I would definitely do a ducks games over a Yankess game w/the kids.
What about Fire Island? Maybe something like the Sunken Forrest?

Sunken Forrest
DH & I went a few years ago.
This is from the website:
"The Sunken Forest at Fire Island is a rare Maritime Holly Forest. While not really "sunken," the forest has the appearance of being below sea level, as the trail drops down the back side of the secondary dune into a lush canopy of trees."
