Summer sneakers
Where do you buy comfy, cheap sneakers for your preschooler?
I mean very cheap, like ~$10 per pair. I have no idea what goes on at the playground at DD’s school but I have already thrown out 2 pairs of shoes and 3 outfits because of dirt that cannot be removed and ruined soles (its April 2).
I would guess she will go through about one pair of shoes per week.

Re: Summer sneakers
Payless is really cheap- but not great quality- but if you are looking for cheap, cheap. They are going out of business so i hear they have crazy sales too
Target maybe or Walmart?

Summer sneakers
As long as they’re comfortable, I don’t care about the quality. Even if she doesn’t rip the soles (which she has done to 2 pairs of new balance) they will end up so filthy that they’ll be unwearable. She also comes home with her shoes full of rubber mulch which doesn’t help.
I cannot adequately explain the filth. Her $100 lands end coat is going in the garbage as soon as it warms up. Even DH, who doesn’t notice anything, put her in her “weekend” coat and a new hat on Friday because he was embarrassed to take her out in her school coat. Then those came back filthy and I had to throw the hat out and immediately scrub the coat.
Yes, I know kids get dirty but this seems extreme to me.

Re: Summer sneakers
LOL, what are they rolling in the mud?
DD still gets filthy and she's in 3rd grade. Her coat is nasty. I have to scrub the sleeves and soak it in oxyclean or washing soda all the damn time.
And forget her shoes. Disgusting
Thank God they outgrow stuff every season because nothing is salvagable.
Definitely check Payless. I heard their sales are great.

My one son wears New Balance because he’s picky and finds them the most comfortable and I feel they are made like crap!!!
My other son wears Under Armour sneakers and they hold up much better. I get them from the online outlet.

Re: Summer sneakers
Target for sure- they have some for like $10 that I just ordered for DD.
ETA: Carter's is also 50% off at the moment and free shipping. So they're around $15- $20 a pair.
