summer vacation
I think had we been able to still go on our trip to Hawaii, we would have but the airline made the decision for us and canceled our flights.

we are thinking about doing a road trip to DC for a long weekend in August.
We pushed all of our spring trips back to the fall and as of now, we are planning going, but that really depends on how things open up

I rented a tiny house in the Catskills with its own private pool for July and we are doing ocean city md in a condo in August.
We canceled spring break and I need to get away!
The tiny house sounds great, can I ask where you found it?

Airbnb. I just searched upstate places. Finding a private pool was a challenge.

We decided to stay home this year. Not worth the stress of bringing 4 young kids out anywhere. I’m okay with it, we were able to renovate the house a bit with the money we were supposed to use for Disney!

DH and I went upstate for a few days, and it was so good just to be somewhere else after spending the vast majority of the last few months in my house!

We have family who live in Cape Cod full-time as well as others who have a vacation home there. We were offered use of the vacation home for a week or two in August. I’m looking forward to the change of scenery. We canceled another trip that we had planned, which would’ve involved flying.

After teaching from home, homeschooling DD, having a one year old that decided to stop STTN since March, and being stuck in the house, I am dying for it! It's so peaceful up there. Hoping things aren't too out of the ordinary.

summer vacation
We were supposed to leave for Disney the 27th. We were driving down and flying back. Because we were using our timeshare we had to make a decision back in March. Jet Blue cancelled our return flight last week. I was holding off cancelling it myself in the hopes of getting a refund instead of flight credits, so that worked out for me. I looked into using the Disney timeshare in Hilton Head, but it's booked solid for the entire summer.

I'm still searching for somewhere to take my kids. Lake George seems to be where everyone is going, so avoiding there now. Maybe Westerly Rhode Island to sit on the beach. Not sure! We always go on great vacations the last week in June. Last year was Banff. This year might be the backyard. So annoyed.
