Sun Burn - blister help!!!
Well, puttin on 30, sunday afternoon was like putting on 4 that day. the sun was so hot and i didn't realize how bad i was burning.
now, my right ear is like one big blister and my back is starting to blister and i'm in mucho pain. i would like to say it's my own fault...but i did lather up, 3 times, in 30 spf.
so i bought aloe and Lanachane. but what do i do about this ear of mine? it's like a big blister? It's so gross, that's why i need you girls.
Do i just let it heal, does it get like popped (ewwww and owwww)
????????? not sure what to do but it's painful!

NO, don't pop them. The blisters are a natural cushion and protective layer over burnt skin. Put aloe and cool cloths on it to relieve the pain. The less clothing you wear over the burns the better. Only time can really heal Feel better!

Re: Sun Burn - blister help!!!
Don't pop/scratch at it! I got burned badly last month and my shoulders blistered. The best thing is tons of aloe (keep it in the fridge so it's nice and cool) it'll takr the heat out of the burn. Just wait it out - and OD on aloe... it'll get better.

Re: Sun Burn - blister help!!!
when you get home, fill a spray bottle with vinegar, you can dilute a little if you can't stand the smell, but full force works best. strip, stand in the shower and spray the burned spots, let it dry on you...if the sting isn't totally gone spray again...You'll smell like a salad, but it takes the sting out. ...you can apply it to your ear with a cotton ball, or on a wash clothes. I've had to do this a few times, and it's the only thing that really gives long term relief, aloe will help, but it's temporary.

It really does work. I learned the hard way years ago in Mexico. It was "prescribed" by a hotel doctor, at least I think he was a doctor.

Re: Sun Burn - blister help!!!
I was the queen of sunburn when I was younger, hence the recent mohs surgeries I've had to have.
The best cure IMO is to run a lukewarm bath and fill it with teabags. After soaking for at least 15 minutes, pat yourself off and apply natural yogart.
Feel better

Re: Sun Burn - blister help!!!
the vinegar trick REALLY works..I found it on a home remedy site about 2 months ago when I got really badly burned....The smell goes away quite quickly...
Noxzema is another good trick to make the sunburn fade & no peeling...
