I don't think parenting skills is the concern. At that age, health issues (for both mother and baby) would be the biggest concern.
I'm happy for her, but I do think she's a little on the old side to be pregnant. Hopefully mom and baby do just fine. I'm sure with all her money she has a team of doctors monitoring her very closely.

Comes with risk. I'm sure she has the best doctors who ran every test and they could even be donor eggs or eggs from a previous IVF session when she was 25.
Who knows. My point was everyone deserves the chance to be a mother. So I say congrats to her

I'm sure she understands the risks involved with a mature pregnancy. However, she seems to be healthy and fit, so I wish her a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Wow, that is pretty amazing at her age. I'm guessing she had intervention. I know someone who attempted IVF at 45, was given a really small chance of it working, and despite repeated treatments, she ended up not successful unfortunately. I couldn't see myself having the stamina and energy for all that at 50, but if she does, more power to her.

If she froze her eggs or used donor eggs he risk would not be as high(assuming donor eggs were from someone younger)

The Jackson's are the original Kardashians, they are just smarter.
She was in the middle of a tour - a tour that was not selling. All the months of planning, money, costumes, expenses...you don't just up and say, OK today we're gonna scrap all that and get pregnant. It doesn't compute. This is a convenient way to cancel her poorly selling tour and gain sympathy - she may be having a baby, but I would bet a surrogate is carrying.

There are a few Hollywood women that were PG in their late 40s and no one made a big deal.
