I thought that thing was so stupid. It was much easier using a plain receiving blanket and wrapping her like a burrito.

Re: Swaddle-Me challenged!!!
Really?? I think it is so much easier than using a regular blanket! I have 3 of them and use them every day! I am challenged using regular receiving blankets!

www.miracleblanket.com! That is the way to go. The swaddle me's worked, but it seemed like it was too big in the beginning. I used receiving blankets until I found the miracle blanket!

I loved the Swaddle Me! Just pop them in and velcro, it's pretty easy.

Same here. You just have to get them tight enough. Sometimes they're too little in the beginning so you have to use a blanket until they grow into the Swaddle Me a bit better.

I wasn't coordinated to work those either. I just used a regular blanket too!

Re: Swaddle-Me challenged!!!
Emma always managed to get out of the Swaddle Me, no matter how snug it was. I found that the Miracle Blanket works better.

My dd is not a fan of the swaddle me, we've been using the sleep sacs instead.

Hey ladies - thanks - it could be he is just too tiny right now for the swaddle me - he actually sleeps better with his arms free anyway, I feel....

Re: Swaddle-Me challenged!!!
I hated the swaddle me! Never went on right and never tight enough! I used regular receiving blankets and then bought the miracle blanket and loved it!

My peanut has to have her arms free. I tried to tuck them in and she was miserable. I just use a regular blanket to swadle her since she is so tiny.

Cailen is miserable if he cannot access his arms - he takes a lot of comfort in having his hands available to do all sorts of awesome things with them - I should post his clasped fingers pic - he also like to suck on his fingers and his sleeves...

DH uses the expression burrito as well. So appropriate.

We always called it a burrito too - the funniest thing was viewing hours at the hospital and seeing all the baby burritos wrapped up with their heads sticking out - sooo cute!!!
