swaddle me vs. the miracle blanket UPDATE
which do you suggest? we had another sleepless night and there has got to be a better way. he kept waking himself w/his flailing arms...so, before i make the investment - i'd like to do some smart parent research and ask the ladies who know everything!!!
can u tell me what you like/dislike about either or both blankets and which you prefer...

I called the one distributor of the MB in jax n they don't have it in stock, so i have to order online...i stopped by bru and bought the swaddle me
he doesn't look like he's enjoying it much, but he's quite and may actually nap today (unlike yesterday)
we'll see how it goes...THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

Never liked the swaddle me. Just was awkward to me. DD was either swaddled in receiving blankets (still is for naps actually), or we did try the Miracle Blanket a few times...it seemed to work well, it's just that the receiving blanket was easier for us to use.

Definitely Miracle Blanket. DD was able to break out of everything!! I tried them all! The Miracle Blanket was truly a miracle for us.
I was either not able to get the other blankets snug enough or she was really strong The miracle blanket is really easy to use and DD wasn't able to wiggle out until 6 months (she was really too big for it by then.)

Definitely the miracle blanket....it truly was a miracle. The Swaddle Me never really worked for her.

I never heard of the miracle blanket. I will have to look that up.
IM...it depends on the baby. "you" can like somthing all "you" want, but if the baby doesn't then it's a total waste.

i've never used the mb, the swaddle me has been working well for us. but i've heard that the mb is harder to break out of...
i might buy a swaddle me first because it's only $9.99 at BRU, this way you can see if swaddling even works for your baby. and then depending on your success you could buy the mb ($27).

he sleeps better swaddled, however i foiund him with the blanket over his face yesterday and so i'm scared to use a reg blanket to swaddle...he breaks out of it too easily - even when its tight and done in the manner that the happiest baby book says...i need a strong swaddling blanket so he wont break out of it and go back to sleeping every 3-4 hours...
based on the answers, i may have to splurge if they have it in stock. theres only one store in jax that sells the miracle blanket....so if they dont have it i'll try the swaddle me though it seems liek the mb will be harder for him to get out of...

I wouldn't even waste your money on the Swaddle me - that really didn't work at all - go right to the Miracle Blanket. He used to smile when I would put him in it. It is by far the best invention out there.
You can only buy it at BBB (not BRU)
The day that Jack broke out of the MB was literally the last night I slept a full 10 hours.

Same for us. She'd break out of the swaddle me no matter what.
ETA: You can buy the miracle blanket at www.miracleblanket.com-i found it there cheaper than BBB and it only took a couple days to get to me.

In the beginning when DS was very small I used the Swaddle Me. When he was bigger (up to 5 months) I swore by the Miracle Blanket
