Swarovski ornaments - or any fancy ornaments - a question...
Every year, DH buys me the Swarovski snowflake ornament for Christmas.
We always put them on the tree, but they can be so heavy and I'm always afraid of them falling.
Does anyone display their fancy ornaments on something other than their tree? I saw something in the Pottery Barn catalog and it was nice. But I wanted something that holds a LOT of ornaments, something really pretty.
We were considering hanging them inside our bay window too, over our Christmas Village. I could use fishing line to hang them so it looks like they're floating in thin air.

My vote is to hang them in the window.
My grandmother got us one the year we were engaged. I have it hanging year round in one of the kitchen windows that gets the morning light. My kids get so excited to see the rainbows.

I collect them as well. I bought a metal tree to display them with at target yesterday. I have to return it because I don't have enough yet so I'm going to get a smaller one.

We use a metal tree holder for our waterford one's- I was always to scared to put them on the tree. My mom puts the swarski one's on her crystal chandilier we take some crystals down and put the snowflakes up

I display mine on a ornament stand/holder in my curio cabinet all year long with the rest of my swarovski's....

I collect their ornaments as well. I do have 2 of my favorites(one was our cake top) in my china closet hanging from a stand but I love how they reflect our christmas tree lights

there's a metal ornament holder at target too.... it's very cute 
I have tried my best to get durable expensive ornaments.... like sterling silver snowflakes.... since with my luck, they'd all get crushed by something heavy over the summer
