Swatting at the spoon during eating?
Does anyone else DC do/did that?
Gianna will swat the spoon away from her mouth, get food all over the place then cry/whine cause she's wants to eat.
ETA: She's 11 months old.

Re: Swatting at the spoon during eating?
Andrew does this either when he is done or when he wants to hold the spoon himself

Re: Swatting at the spoon during eating?
Welcome to the joy of spoon feeding...
My son kicks the spoon out of my hand. That's when I feed him sitting up on the bed. He's swatted my hand away. These things he does playing around.

My son does that after he's finished eating and as a result he spits up a little bit or throws up...

You can give her a spoon to play with so she doesn't grab yours. Then there are the times they want both of them.

She's got quite the temper. I have given her own spoon and she throws it.
