Swimming and TTC
Forgive my ignorance, but how does swimming affect TTC? I have been swimming to lose all this darn weight and am concerned that it might not be the best idea during the days of BDing. Anyone know anything about this? Does anyone know of any website that could help answer questions?
TIA!

I'm not sure about swimming in particular but I have read that exercise doesn't help. Good luck!!!

Re: Swimming and TTC
I don't understand how swimming or even exercising would negativley effect TTC?
Are you worried about the water washing away the sperm? When you BD, the sperm only need a very short window of time to make their way up into your cervix. Once they're in there, they are in there.
The healthier you are , the better- so go for anything that keeps you active.

Re: Swimming and TTC
Ok. My concern was whether they would wash away. That's why I figured doing the elliptical was better during BD time than swimming. Thanks ladies!!

Re: Swimming and TTC
I don't think they'll wash away from swimming unless you BD and then jumped in a pool immediately, that would be the only way. besides, swimming is a great stress-free exercise for your body.
