Swimming classes, Marriott swim school v. safety swim

Does anyone take any swimming classes at either of these? My son is 10 1/2 months and I am thinking about taking swimming classes, both are 6 weeks 1/2 hour and the same price. The only real difference is that one class has the babies underwater while the other class doesn't. Any information will be helpful...thank you

I don't know anything about Marriott, but Saf-T-Swim is an excellent program. I've seen how quickly the children progress and they really do learn to be safe in the water. The individual instruction means your child progresses at his/her own pace.

We started swimming at the Plainview Y last week and Jacob (He is 7.5 months) loved it. He can't wait to go back into the water. There were about 19 other kids and 4 instuctors in the water.

We take it on Sundays so all the daddys go in while the mommies take pictures and chatChat Icon

I heard great things about safety swim also

Do you have any info on the classes at the Marriot or a Website.

Saf-T-Swim Rocks. I have had such a positive experience with both kids that I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. they are a bit pricey though but to me them knowing how to save themselves, god forbid, is worth any amount of money.

I had Claire in the Saf T Swim class when she was 3 months old and she LOVED it. I plan to bring her back for the next level one this fall
