Re: swing and bouncy

right away...it wasn't so much her enjoying, but she just hung out. She slept for hours in the bouncy and the swing she loved as well...

I would feed her at night and leave in there and she would pass out...

Re: swing and bouncy

Paige doesnt really like the bouncy and the swing she will tolerate for a bit. She does take her naps in the swing though. But if she doesnt want to nap she will only sit in it for 10 mins. then start crying.

My DD doesnt really like anything. She even hates the car, when most children like it.

Re: swing and bouncy

Nikolas liked the swing a little bit in the first few weeks to sleep in. He hated the bouncy.. it took until at least 6 wks old until he'd even allow you to put him in the bouncy, and at that point he decided he loathed the swing (and never went in it again)

He really started loving the bouncy at about 2 months and even now he LOVES the bouncy, though he's getting too big for it (he's a big boy!)

Re: swing and bouncy

DD loved the bouncy from day 1, still does.

Didn't like the swing until I changed the direction from side to side to front to back. She was 2 months when I did that.

So it could be a combination of both direction and age. She totally loves it now. Sits in it awake for an hour or 2!! If I try to take her out she gets upset...so I now let her tell me when she's ready to stop swingingChat Icon

Pretty much right away. Although one DD took awhile to really love the swing. Once she realized she could sleep in it - it was love!

Re: swing and bouncy

Hated the bouncy after a month or so, loved the swing and would sleep in there all the time.

Re: swing and bouncy

DD took to the bouncy right away...swing, not so much. She'll tolerate it now, but not for long. Her two favs now are bouncy and bumbo!
