swingset for a 1 year old?
DS is turning one in March. DH and I were looking at swingsets. Are we crazy? Is he too young?
He's already walking all over and is very steady on his feet. We've had him in swings on the park and he loved to swing. I think he'd like the slide too with my help. Do you think we should get it this year or wait till next year?
This is the one we are thinking of

That's a great swingset but I think he's too young for it. Have you checked out Step2.com or LittleTikes.com?

I have looked at those, but it seems like he would grow out of those so fast. And they are not cheap. I didn't want to spend so much money on something that would only be good for one summer. This one I thought I would get one of the bucket swings and I would play with him on it.

Def. not too young. I bought a swingset last year when DD was a year. I also bought a Walmart one (the one with the green and yellow awning). She loved the swing and the slide and I would sit on the glider with her in front of me.
ETA, I bought a little tikes toddler swing at the store, I think it was $20 and I just replaced one of the swings with that.
