Re: Switching formula question

I switched it w/ my doctors approval but honestly- I wasn't such a big deal, I don't see why you can't just do it- what forumla is your DC on now?

Re: Switching formula question

yep....switched her from Enfamil (the regular one) to the Prosobee when she was a newborn due to excessive gas.

It worked.

DD was on Similac Advance- it made her spit up SO much.... it was insane. Thick, curdled and disgusting... I had her on the ready to feed and it wasn't making her cry but it was constant.

Now she is on enfamil gentlease- been on it since last wed... she's doing better -still spitting up but not as much. At first DD was annoyed by it- but now she's cool... the gentlease is powdered- i think the change in texture from the RTF to powder was something she wasn't thrilled about...

Steven was on Similac Advance and had soooooooo much gas. He wasn't screaming and crying in pain but he was so fussy.

I switched him to Gentlease on my own and he does great on it!

No gentlease is powder only.
honestly the powder is SOOO much easier....

the doc said if the gentlease doesn't work, the next step was enfamil AR- which does come in RTF but it more expensive than the similac advance.
