Switching from Liquid to Powder

How did you go about it? Did you find that it made your DC less or more gassy? I have some (same exact formula we are using now, just powder) and was wondering what to expect. My ped said I can use both if I want but I can't imagine that's going to work. Any advice would be great.

Thanks!!

Re: Switching from Liquid to Powder

I know my kid is older than yours, but I switch between powder and liquid all the time (depending on how lazy I am, if I have the car with me, if I want to carry the liquid formula home with me if I am walking etc) and we have no problems...the kid has copper tubing.

Its like I said to him today when he was eating cat food, I said, Noah, I said. Noah, thats going to be nice going down, but not so great coming out the other end. He didn't listen. He just kept eating more cat food. Shortly after that, he threw up a hairball and shat on my rug. But thats life with Noah.

I switched to liquid because the powder made her sick- she couldn't tolerate it for some reason.

my DS doesn't seem to care that I switch from powder or RTF as I see fit - He'll drink anything!

Re: Switching from Liquid to Powder

My ped told me switching from power to RTF or vice versa won't make a difference with the gas for DD. She will drink either one, but we use the RTF 99% of the time.

Re: Switching from Liquid to Powder

PWD formula made DD constipated so we use RTU.
