Switching from RTF to Powder formula...
What can I expect? DS was on it as a newborn but had gas issues. I want to try to switch him for $$ reasons.
Right now, on the RTF, we are spending $80 every 2 weeks but the powder will be $48! Definately worth the savings especially since I am a SAHM now & #2 coming...

We switch Gia back and forth with no problems. No trick to it. However, if we try to switch Nicolas from the RTF to powder, he gets very gassy so we're stuck with the RTF for him.

We use both RTF and Powder with Ethan with no issues. He, too, was on RTF since he was a newborn because I was supplementing with BM and it was just easier. The cost was definitely another factor for us switching off as well.

When we switched ds he had more dirty diapers for the first week and then it was fne. We weren't able to switch back and forth it messed up his poop :)

My kids had major issues with it in the beginning.....just switched them now at 5 months and they have been fine! And it is a HUGE savings for me with twins.

My DD could not handle the powder. Big difference in her gas and discomfort when using powder vs RTF.

We used powder with both girls and neither one has/had an issue. We occasionally use the RTF but we mainly use the powder.
