Switching to Enfamil A.R for spit up.. do I need consult ped?

poor DD has been spitting up so much after each feeding, I am so upset, I am beside myself Chat Icon
I don't know how much spit up is considered too much, but she has never spit up this much/frequent before.
Can I get some Enfamil A.R for her try, or should we wait till her welnness visit with the Ped on Tuesday?
DD is 6 weeks, 2 day today.

ETA: I am BF and supplementing with Enfamil lipil. DD spits up both BM and formula. So even if I switch to A.R, she might still spit up BM.
ugh, I am so frustrated I want to cry Chat Icon

i switched formulas on my own many times and wound up with AR. that's what i continue to use and DS is 9 months old. it works wonders!!!

i wouldn't bother asking, but that's me. there's no reason why your child couldn't use it--it's regular formula with rice starch to thicken it a little. it really helps with spitup--DS never spit up again after we switched him.

I swtiched but I did talk with my ped who said its fine to switch within the same brand. AR worked wonders for DD
