Taking a 3 year old's temperature
What kind of thermometer do you use? Rectal? Ear? Mouth? Something else?

I use the ear or temperal one, if he has anything more than a low fever I follow up with a rectal to get an accurate reading

Ear but its a nightmare - she HATES it - thankfully she doesnt get sick too often so we rarely have to use it.
