Taking a 5 mos old to the beach... suggestions?
I want to head over to the beach today with Gianna, and I've never taken her before. I will be going alone bc dh has to work, and I want to make sure I'm prepared with everything that I'll need.
What do you usually bring with you when you bring your baby to the beach? Any "must have" items?
TIA!

We got a sun tent last year at walmart for DS at the beach - it had 2 small mesh vents (didn't do much) it was made of an spf material (not sure how) so DS could nap or get out of the sun. he was about 3-6 mos last year beach season.
i guess besides sunblock, food, WATER and toys, there isn't much
BTW: Baby powder gets sand of skin very quickly. so pack some of that.
